This new course is ideal for those candidates who work or wish to work in the Electrotechnical industry. The qualification aims to provide expert guidance to learners wishing to gain knowledge and understanding of electrical installations within dwellings. On successful completion candidates will become eligible and recognised by certification bodies, as competent to undertake electrical work. This is the minimum qualification level for Qualified Supervisors responsible for electrical work in domestic properties subject to Part P of the Building Regulations (England and Wales).

This is a standalone qualification and is suitable for anyone aged 18 and over.
The Level 3 certificate is aimed and designed for adult learners.
What could this qualification lead to?
On successful completion the qualification reflects the minimum technical competencies required, to become a registered qualified supervisor as of April 6th 2013. It will enable learners to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the electrotechnical sector.
